How to wear Ihram?
Traditionally, during the state of Ihram, men wear two plain, unstitched white cloths:
- Lower cloth (Izar): Wrapped around the waist to cover from the navel to below the knees.
- Upper cloth (Rida): Draped over the shoulders and upper body.
There are also some basic guidelines to follow for men;
- No stitched clothing shaped to the body (shirts, pants, underwear).
- Sandals should leave the ankles and top of the feet exposed.
- The head must remain uncovered while in Ihram.
